Just frankly stating the necessity to end the relationship and then walking away from it completely and forever is often the healthiest, most honest, and least painful method for everyone. A complete and decisive physical and emotional break leaves both partners freer to reestablish separate lives more quickly for new growth and renewed happiness.
Whenever love dies, reasons always exist. But the reasons are not always obvious. A person can better prepare for a future relationship by identifying the reasons for failure through high-effort, honest introspection.

You've only been together 5 months but still be respectful; take her somewhere in a park or something and say it's just not right for you and that your not happy and would like to move on. Do not fight or raise your voice at all. Be compassionate, sympathetic and sensitive. If she asks 100 questions, tough. You'd want the same done for you if you were in her shoes. Once it's over though, no booty calls or teasing. End it. Good luck.

It's only a 5 month thing, shouldn't be that big of a deal for either of you. But to avoid the questions and explosions try having her get the message while she's in a good mood (not when she just woke up or is tired). Try sending flowers to her work. The flowers will get her mood up. Send it with a note saying you care for her but you can't be with her because you aren't comptable. Give examples Address the questions that she would ask simply but clearly. Also, at work she wouldn't be able to explode or call you because she'll make a fool out of herself and get into trouble. Avoid answering her calls for at LEAST one day (2 is better). Let everything blow over.
Don't be mean, but make sure you aren't too nice or else she'll think "I have a chance....Maybe if I just keep persisting he'll take me back."

You're doing a big thing by ending the relationship so you have to expect some kind of a reaction. Keep it honest, sincere and open and she will have no choice but to eventually accept what you have said and move on.

5 months is nothing my man... be sweet to her dont change the way you treat her just because you dont want to hit it anymore, be a good friend to her, treat her the way you want to be treated.
mary jane and i are still good friends to this day but we arnt lovers my first resposibilitys are to protect the innocent., avoid drama in your delivery, show her that you still want to be her friend but do not reject her... keep it casual.... if you have fun with her continue to see her... if you dont, explain how you feel and give her a chance to change her attitude... show her a willing ness to work with her on your differences.... serously i tell you the truth alll men and women fit perfect when their laying down, and dont be a coward by being unwilling to communicate with her that is flakey as all... be real and be nice.... you never know when she might need you or when you might need her
hope this helps

After 5 months, you find that the relationship is not as satisfying as you need. You have decided you want your own space. You hope she finds someone else that will make her happy.
Don't let her say anything. You can shake her hand and wish her well.

you can't predict how things will go. just be polite, respective and kind. don't lie, but don't be too blunt. you need to be direct. you need to give her answers because that will help her understand and probably help in future relationships. don't point blame, but explain how you guys just don't mesh. it will never be easy, but waiting will only make it worse.
DO NOT send her flowers & a break-up card at work! that is the lamest, most rude and horrible thing EVER!!!

Every relationship ends in hurt feelings. Even those who have been married for 50 years and one dies, the other one is still hurt.
