What is four years, of course this could work. The common saying, age is only a number, applies here. If you have true feelings, don't worry about how old he is. I think you should only worry about this if he would be under 18, because you don't want to go to jail for really good lay. Otherwise, enjoy!

Maturity is something to take in account, however (for myself), I have a policy to date people that are no more than 2 years younger than me primarily because there is a HUGE gap in life experience.
The main difference between life experience and maturity is that anyone can be mature, but it's those experiences in life that help us cope with certain things as they come along. An example of such are the differences between high school seniors and college students. Some people will tell you differently, but there is s HUGE gap in between the two. For starters, their mind's haven't fully developed. A mid-life crisis of "my best friend told my other best friend something untrue about me" is like sleeping through a final exam to people in college.

Age difference makes no difference if all parties are above 18. Prior to 18 anything over 2 year age difference is questionable at best.

It depends on your age. For example, if you are 16 and he is 12 it probably wouldn't work. But if you are 25 and he is 21, that may work. Maturity level also plays a huge role!

Yes as long as he like you it does not matters. love is not about ages older or young. love is something that money can't buy and feelings for each other. No matter what happen love will never die. Good luck

It depends. How old are you? If you're at least in your mid twenties it shouldn't matter, because the maturity levels for both should be equal. Or at least as equal as they will become. I hope this helps?
