Ok so my mom said she'd get me braces this winter and now she wants me to get them this summer!!!! She knows how much it hurts but why can't i just get it over with!!!!

It's probably economics. Dental plans suck, and she'll be forking out some serious jack for it.
Be as patient as you can, she's probably embarassed about paying for it. Being a parent blows sometimes, and we don't always tell you the real reason behind a decision.

Well too bad! Do you have any idea how much braces suck?
Seriously, when I first got them, I was soooo happy. A month later, I dreaded those things. Now i'm stuck with retainers! Trust me, after a while, EVERYONE gets tired of braces, and so will you! So enjoy your time while your teeth have no braces, I know I am since I finally got them off!

Sweetie, braces can be very expensive. I'm sure your mom doesn't want you to suffer anymore than you have to, but sometimes parents can only do so much.
Christmas is also just a couple weeks away; she may be thinking about how to financially plan for that.

This really kills me when kids say they are MAD and don't even have a JOB! ur mom knows when the right time for u to get them! as I'm sure she has been taking care of u all these years, summer are not that far away dear!

THink about the cost- I put 3 kids in braces - and bought too many retainers- IT cost Big Bucks= and if you do it during the summer you won't have to suffer in school=D

Be grateful!! Some people can't even afford braces. My family couldn't, and now I have to get them on my own and wear them in my adulthood. You're young and in a few years you'll have perfect teeth, so BE THANKFUL!

Just be patient. It's not hard, try it. Besides, are you REALLY mad about not having to be in pain yet? Be happy that you don't have to get them yet.
If she knows how much it hurts, maybe she just wants to give you more time to prepare, or possibly she hasn't enough money.

She must not have the money. They don't hurt they way they used too, the new ones are so much better.
