It's a strange thing. Walcott went 13 rounds against Marciano's best punches, 7 months later was dropped in the first by the Rock. Roy Jones beat Hopkins, James Toney, and Virgil Hill. Yet, SOMEHOW losers Tarver and Johnson beat him... how the Hell does this happen? Don't get me started on Louis/Conn. It depends on if you can take a punch, how many you can take in a time period, your courage, and if you get caught wrong. There is no magic number of ppi that'll do the trick. It is about the oppertunity and the night a fighter has.

Don't show weakness when you get hit. You must have a strong poker face or as my brother calls it a "built face". Each time you show weakness, the crowd, the judges, and most importantly your opponent will know exactly whats happening in the fight.
Get hit and don't show pain, eventually you will develop a rep.
