I want to compress some large video files(.wmv format) on my PC so is there any format and tool which can give me best video compression in terms of size.

Regarding Real Video, that's really good answer. I will really appreciate if you could suggest some Tool which will convert avi or wmv to Real video.

well.. the most powerful video format is Real Video in terms of size but on the cost of quality. It is normally used for streaming, that why its size is too low, So go for Mpeg or mpg compressor that is best for now.
