im 17 years old im 5'7 115 pounds im skinney if that has anything to do with it. im the niceist person at the school but im really really shy. its hard for me to start a conversation or even keep up with one. I just want to know how to get her attention. Id like to have only girls answer.

The only way to get noticed by a girl is to smile and say hi to her.
Take it from there. Your shyness well be overcome dependent on whether she returns your warm smile, you can also "accidentally" bump into her on purpose with lots of books in your hand on a topic that you know she likes...
Its hard to be rejected by a girl but its a first step. The only failure is failure to try. If you really really want something, believe me you will go for it.

Girls like a guy who is genuine if they are genuine. Go for girls who are nice. Just talk to them about things. The best way to do this is to listen and pick up on something she is talking about and relate to something you know about. Then chat with her about that. Getting to know her as a friend first is the key to winning a great girl as a girl friend. Friends are more fun because you relax and be your self, girlfriends make you nervous, when you call him boyfriend suddenly you get nervous.

If you have a class with her, then get her attention that way. Come up to her after class or something and ask about the homework (like what it is, or what you are suppossed to do) or maybe start talking about how boring the class was or something like that. Starting a conversastion the first time (it can be about class) will help you be more comfortable to talking with her later on.

Nice and shy usually wins do what the other person said SMILE SMILE SMILE!!!!!!!!!!!! It makes us girls feel like queens and make the best possible direct eye contact you can while smiling. and you should get buffed up a bit and go to the gym and develop muscles!!! It'll work out also if you play hard to get!!!!!!!

just approach her say hi everyday, crack jokes, get to know her first. talk to her put yourself out there. you cant change a person if she like guys who are nice and honest than it will work out if shes the type that wont give you the time of day than its not worth it. same thing happened to me turns out she doesnt like nice guys... atleast try you have nothing to lose.

Feel the fear and do it anyway. The main way to overcome fears (e.g. shyness) is to start facing them. The sooner you get in the habit of responding to fear with courage, the better off you'll be.
Also, why do you only want girls to respond? In my experience, it's better to ask guys who have overcome similar kinds of obstacles. As tempting as it may be to ask, you're not going to get your best information from asking women these kinds of questions.
