I know it's not even plausible, but think hypotheticly with me here for a sec. If everyone, enlisted, officers, reserves and gurad all went on strike...I don't know for what, say for highier pay or to have our troops pulled from Iraq......what would happen? They can't discharge the entire military. Or even if it was only one branch.

hmmm........

Yeah they won't fight for higher pay but maybe against the idiocracy of Bush. Risking innocent American lives for oil is a treason to the people of America.

But the casualty wouldn't really be a lot in America, just a lot of people will be homeless.. Our country is extremely hard to get through, you would need a big marches across Mexico or try and make a landing on the coast. We also have civilian police and those military people are willing to defend...

But yeah, it would be call treason and they would all be disgraced. The US military doesn't look kindly at soldiers gone AWOL or treason.

I'm sure if that happens tho, either Bush gets out and be might or might not become successful and regain our world rep, or Bush doesn't get out and the country falls internally.. Look at the Romans, however they got invaded because they had enemies on all sides almost.
Don't forget the people in Iraq and Afghan and over seas... They're screwed if this happens.

If the Army went on strike the President would probably declare martial law, and soldiers would be forced back into service.

I doubt that they would fight for higher pay. the service men and women are out there to fight for honor, courage, and for the country. They fight for us. but since this is hypothetical. I'd think that some powerful military general or admiral will lead a strike against parliament and bush. most likely, that military leader will take place of bush and it might turn into a dictatorship. The country will crumble in the mean time due to the lack of government leaders.

All of our enemies would know, and we'd be attacked mercilessly. I'm sure our allies would try to help, but there would a massive amount of damage and loss of innocent lives on our own soil. As long as there is dishonesty and violence in the world, all countries need a military.

Military personnel are not allowed to strike. Thus, if they do such acts, they will be tried under a court martial. If in case all of them went on strike, it will be treated differently because it will be difficult for a country to have no military.

If our military went on strike, I think this is when China, N. Korea, Muslims from all over, and who ever else thinks we suck would take advantage. We would be; the masses; having to fight to keep our country.

That'd sound like big trouble if other countries found out.
