If you are in an abusive environment then pack your stuff and get you and your kids out of there! There are local shelters for abused women and all you have to do is tell them you want out and they will arrange an anonymous way to collect you as well as they will help you find a place to live while you stay there. I know it is not the best option but really it will help you get on your feet if you really want to cut off the abuser permanently and start a new life. They also offer abuse counseling and will help with a lot of things. My advice is don't sit around looking for a place to rent, first get yourself and your children out of immediate danger because if a person is capable of abusing, then they are also capable of taking your life. Also the shelter will help you stay anonymous so that the abuser cannot find you and will also help you get a job transfer/ new place to work if you feel that living in a certain area is too unsafe or likely that the person will find you again.
When the abuser has left the house and will be gone for several hours, then pack up and go. Don't leave anything important behind and keep some cash if possible. Also when you leave the abuser's home, do not attempt to press charges or file a restraining order as it will only agitate the person and could make matters worse. Also delete this yahoo ID so that the person can't find out your plans to relocate. God bless and be safe.

is there a women in need program in ur area and if so they only help u if u report the abuse to the police. so i dont know if u have. is there like a section 8 program to they might be able to help u out asap!
