Ok well if it was BETTER with your b/f tell it to him like that say he's the best (note: this only works if you're the kinda girl who hasn't slept with a lot of people and were just being kinda clueless and looking for someone to compare his skills to...If you honestly do sleep around alot I wouldn't try & fake a real relationship just say it's not-exclusive IE "friends with benefits" to him that way at least you two are even).

If it wasn't better tell him you were being impulsive but he needs to work on (say whatever he didn't satisfy you as well at as your roomie).

To put it short: if you can't enjoy sex with your b/f and he doesn't want to work on improving his skills, you're likely heading toward a boring, abusive, cheating (likely on both sides) relationship...don't feel guilty about addressing what you know is the real issue.

Look for 2 reasons you need to disclose this matter. 1 if you don't you wont satisfy yourself cause it will give you pain. 2. Your BF deserves the truth.

There should be a strong reason to you having sex with your roomy if not then my friend I will definitely say you should broke up with your BF cause you wont stop doing it again and again.

I guess that depends on why you did it. If you loved him and had a good relationship, I don't think you wouldn't have done it. Plus if he had satisfied you, you wouldn't have needed to. I don't think you need to tell him if you break up with him. Which would be my advice. You don't seem all that into the commitment.

If you do stay with him though, you should tell him, and be ready to give a reason. Try to talk it out, He will probably break up with you, but he deserves the truth. And maybe you can work it out if YOU work at it.

just be honest with him...don't beat around the bush...just tell him...afterall u owe him at least that much...be prepared for the consequences....like breakin up, name calling etc....don't put up with any physically abuse obviously....when u do apologize, make sure it is really sincere...don't say it if u don't mean it...tell him sooner rather than later...cuz it will come out eventually...if he decides to stay with u...it will never b the same ever again cuz u have broken his trust and that will ALWAYS b in the back of his mind no matter wat he tells u...my advice is to just get it over with...tell him and deal with the fall out. gud luck!
