Designed may be the wrong word. Christianity, and other successful religions, ironically evolved Darwinistically. The variations of Christianity that included the tenants you mention above survived and spread, whereas other variations of Christianity (and other religions) died out.

Natural section applied to religion. Gotta love it.

Absolutely! You left out the fact that Christianity request that people mindlessly "recreate" or "procreate". If Christianity were concerned with the sacredness of life, then they would be the most likely to treat their bodies as "temples", speak out against wars which kill innocent people, and oppose the death penalty while triumphing forgiveness when in fact; "Bible Belt" states are the most unhealthy(treating their bodies like garbage bags), the most war mongering, and the most likely to agree with the death penalty.

The only sacred life Christians want to perserve is the lives of children, so that they can have more opportunity to spread their deadly message via brainwashing the innocents, all the while "beating the devil" out of these poor kids(spanking) for the very nature of their being(free thinkers).

I'd like to talk about the "no evidence" statement. I doubt you will read this, because you dont want to learn. If you do, I apologize.

The chance of any one man fulfilling just eight prophecies has been calculated by Peter W. Stoner in Science Speaks at 1 in 100,000,000,000,000,000 -- yet 60 major Old Testament prophecies, having 270 ramifications were fulfilled by the life of Jesus. An example of the precisely fulfilled prophecies include the place of His birth, Bethlehem (prophesied in Micah 5:2, fulfilled in Luke 2:4-7); that He would be born of a virgin (prophesied in Isaiah 4:17, fulfilled in Luke 1:26-31); that He would be despised and rejected by Jews (prophesied in Isaiah 53:3, fulfilled in John 1:1, Luke 23:18); that He would be betrayed by a friend (Judas) for thirty pieces of silver cast on the floor of the Temple and used to buy a potter's field (prophesied in Zechariah 11:11-13, fulfilled in Matthew 27:3-10).

Fulfilled prophecy extends to the present day -- consider the people of Israel. In Genesis 12:2,3 and 13:13-15, God promised Abraham a great nation, a great name and a land that will belong to his descendants forever and through Abraham, that all families of the earth will be blessed. At the time, Abraham was 75 years old and his wife was barren. The prophecy was fulfilled when Abraham was 90 years old (Genesis 21:2) when his wife Sarah miraculously bore him a son. Over the next several hundred years, the nation promised to Abraham appeared (Exodus 1:7).

Governments use religion to appease the populace... whatever that religion is is irrelevant. When you remove the booga booga from society like the Russians did, there was a need in the people to continue to believe in magic... so they were unhappy. So governments let people go to church and the churches don't have to pay any taxes and the people are happy and they don't cause any trouble. So in the end it is just a political ploy.

Christianity was spread because of morality and inspiration. It wasn't designed to spread. People just wanted to be Christians.

The power of the One who has the authority over where we go when we die is the one to be feared.

And that is the LORD God.

Said Jesus, 'Surely, Allah is my Lord and your Lord, so worship Him alone, this is the right path.'
