I currently started breaking out. I have never had issues w/ pimples, but now that I have discontinued taking the birth control pill, I seem to be playing catch up w/ puberty - I started breaking out. To make matters worse, I get these hard lumps on my face. It doesn't have the whiteness you see in other pimples [which urges you to just pop the sucker], and it's usually not painful to touch. It's just plainly a bump that's slightly reddish/pinkish which later on turns into a dark spot on my face. Anyone have any idea what this may be? I am already using proactiv which helps w/ the white/black heads and I suppose it's minimized the amount of facial "visitors" I get, it's just these damn bumps that bothers me.

you may want to go to a dermatologist and have him to prescribe something. These hard lumps are usually pimples; strangely they com without the head to let you know that they are just a pimple. I know because I have long suffered with them. Sometimes they will go away with facial OTC treatments, and sometimes you may have to pop them to relieve pressure and pain (if they hurt). However the best thing to do is to go and seek medical attention. This way you can full and immediate help from someone with all the answers you need.
