My Mother is a RN, and she just about got the job at a State prison in Arizona, florence arizona prison. How safe or unsafe can it be?

She will be safer than you think. Guards will be there to protect her. What she should look out for is manipulation by the inmates. Inmates are expert manipulators.

Sorry dude (one of the last ones), but inmates are not better behaved and some cannot be rehabiliated, they are inmates and there for a reason , like a crime, yes your mom will be looked out for by the guards and the inmates will be shackled, but she would be safer in a regular hospital. Not trying to scare or concern you, there is danger anywhere in this crazy world, but an inmate is someone you cannot trust, espically in prison.

Prisoners are always looking for any kind of vantage point.In other words do not put your guard down and be alert when around them.

Nurses in prisons are safe more than in the ordinary hospitals because inmates are more behaved since they are under rehabilitation and being behaved have rewards.
