Controversy is that they put in a clause that makes local gun laws void so that the state has a uniform policy. Taft is threatening a veto because of that part of the law. For instance in Columbus it negates an assault weapon ban, a high capacity magazine ban, a waiting period law, and a couple of regs about gun stores turning in paperwork, most other cities have similar complaints.
