In the bible, God talked directly to people. Why was He not talking to us directly these days?

The world today is so wicked that I think God needs to talk to us directly to let us realize our sins and change for good. If He talked to biblical figures, why wont He do it these days?

Guys, check the word "DIRECTLY"....He spoke directly with Moses, etc...

HE talked to prophets and messengers, the people who are CHOSEN to hear from GOD. The last prophet was Mohammed. HE has given us everything that he can to help us, and it is our choice to listen to what was said and follow or not.

But there are times GOD directly helps us when we need it the most and I love that. People can't even accept that as an answer, so how do you think people will accept GOD talking directly to someone today? They would be put into a mental institution because many people AND governments fear GOD.

Because Jun, the Bible is fiction. All religions, are beliefs or mythologies. There is really no truth to them, just theories.
Like Greek Mythology with the Greek Gods and Roman Gods. That was the belief back then. Very real to people in those days. Now it is known as fiction. not real truths.not taken seriously. People don't believe in Zeus anymore.
The idea of a god is a modern man made up concept. One day people will talk about Christian mythology and Muslim mythology etc & C
What ever happened to humans 50,000 years ago when they died is the same thing that will hapen to people today and in 50,000 years from now.

Because we let the things of this world sink into us. Ours thoughts and feelings are constantly altered by society. God speaks to us, we just need to seek Him directly, find a quiet space away from the ruckus of the world and spend one on one time with the Father. But we get so bogged down with our jobs and personal lives we cant even take the time to talk with him.

So how can he speak to us if we dont take the time to speak with Him. I'm a Christian and I struggle with this constantly, my job, my school, and personal life just takes away the time I can be spending with God. I do try to find time to speak with him, early in the morning before work I always pray and then i read one of my daily devotionals, after that i am fully charged for the day. So maybe if we just take a little time to spend with the Father we can hear Him speak to our hearts.

We have become so educated that no-one would believe someone who said they talked directly to God and he to them.God told us what he wanted us to know.He sent Jesus his son to save us and then in Revelations he told us of the last days,The Bible is the most written book and its all over the world.The problem is people don`t read it or they would know that God does talk to us from his written word.When we study it we become more enlightened.We have more understanding of what he has in store for us and what he exspects from us.
When you pray you are speaking to God.He answers ,sometimes not like we hoped but it always turns out right for us if we believe.
