Both parents Brits - came out on the 10 pound boat ride to Oz in the late 60's. They call Australia home and so do I. They have quite strong English accents even after 30 years and apparently I have a bit of a twang, but I can never recognise it....I suppose you don't in your own voice......hmmmm....goes away to ponder

My family comes from all over, Germany, England, Ireland, and France. They started coming here to the USA in the 1600's
so I've got a lot of generations of American born ancestors behind me. Proudly, I always have and will always call America my home.

Uhmm, the farthest they traced my family back was to a plantation off the coast of South Carolina-the Geechee people, whose descendants were mostly from Nigeria and Angola. Slavery sucked, man....anyway the United States is home sweet home now...

mother side- swedish, scottish, irish
father side- native american, irish
all of the ancestors migrated here (except for the natives who were here to begin with), so I and my family call America home. My daughter is different though because she is a dual citizen and can pretty much live wherever she decides.

On my mother's mother's side.... President John Adams... Abigale and Sam included.
On my Father's mother's side...Arthur Manslayer Hardy... A brother to one of the many kings of England... A viking. (Really, I don't know which king. I better look it up.)
On my mother's father's side... Norway!
I live in the OC, in southern CA, in a beautiful beach community today. If I'm a princess... long lost, then I think I've completely hidden myself from anyone looking for me!
