My bf is moving soon and he is depressed, every day and it is getting worse as it gets closer to the leaving date. He gets mad if at anytime someone talks about it. And I want to think of ways to make him forget about him moving. He doesn't want to leave me here cause he is afaid something will happen to me, something bad. He says that he can't leave me but he has to, and he can't do anything about it.

Is there anything that I could do to keep his mind off the moving.

That's a tough one...Whey does he feel like something bad will happen to you? Are you in a bad situation at home that you need to tell someone about? Do you live in a really bad neighborhood? Are you a minor living alone? I need more information...........Your boyfriend seems very sad by your description...talk with him, tell him you know he is stressed about the move, but assure him that you will still love him and you will write, e-mail, anything you have to do to stay in contact with him. Make sure he knows that you know how to keep yourself safe: never walk out at night alone, If you have to walk to your car alone have your key handy for tearing up someones face, but don't walk to car alone if you can help it...If it's a problem at home, tell a counselor at school, no matter how embarrassed or ashamed you feel, stay away from the "bad" kids, (the ones with guns, drugs, alcohol, and racing cars), assure him as much as possible, but don't lie to him because he will know it...I'm assuming his parents are relocating so he has to as well, or is he going to jail and that's why he is so concerned about you? Or is he going off to war? Please give me more information............................................

Do anything! From a similar experience of mine, the sad thoughts and feelings associated with leaving someone you really care about are really strong when you let yourself (and him, in your case) think about it. I know that sounds obvious, but if you guys just sit on your bed and worry about the future everything will be much more painful. My recommendation is to just do all the normal things that you have done in your relationship in the past; if he doesn't want to think about it, don't let him. But when it does come up, just comfort him and be honest with him. Something you should keep in mind, though, is you should never do anything that will hurt yourself just to make him feel better. Good luck, I know it can be really tough.

Not to sound perverted, but if you're old enough, sex will get the job done for you.
Maybe you can promise to call him everyday, or spend a couple days just for the two of you.

Do you really have to ask this question? Seriously, I mean I could think of at least 3 things you could do for him. Everybody else, including you, should think of those three things with no problem.

screw him, and if that doesn't work, just talk to him about it, and if protection is his concern, take some selfdefense classes.
