Hey Shelby,

In Genealogy, it is common for names to be misspelled, so some cryptographic genious came up with a system to use in searching for names that 'sound like'. The system is called Soundex, and is used by Ellis Island, Family Tree, Family Search, and most reputable Genealogy enterprises. So, what this means is you can use the same Genealogy sites as everyone else even if you cannot spell the name exact.
Here are the approximate names that Ellis Island recommended when I used Krinbil:
Krinbill 97% , Krinbel 94% , Krembil 93% , Krenbill 93%
Using the most common, I found:
First Name: H. W.
Last Name: Krinbill
Ethnicity: United States CitizenUSA
Last Place of Residence: USA
Date of Arrival: Apr 19, 1910
Age at Arrival: 26y Gender: U Marital Status:
Ship of Travel: Ryndam
Port of Departure: Rotterdam
Manifest Line Number: 0013

However, I recommend that you get your Birth Certificate, and home in on the exact time, date, location of your Mother's birth, and get her Birth Certificate. Your Mother's Birth Certificate will tell the EXACT spelling of your Grandmother at marriage, and sometimes includes the Maiden name. I just checked that My Maternal Grandmothers maiden name is on my mothers Birth certificate.

From there, you can get her birth certificate and follow other trace methods.
