Maybe think about why you are so pissed? Is he a nice guy otherwise or are you pissed because you saw how he really is about girls and you don't want your sister hurt. If that's the case then your sweet to worry and want to protect her but you could cause more trouble by trying to break them up. She might go out with him just to spite you. Let her know that he's just a player (if he is) and let her make her own decisions. You would be being a good big brother if you just tell her your there for her no matter what, and if the guy uses her or hurts her you will hurt him. In reality, 8 years not that big an age difference. Girls mature way faster than guys.

Neither. You need to grow up.

Your sister is 18, and legally able to make her own choices in this matter.

However, no one said you had to like it. Or agree with it. Or sit quietly about it, so long as you tell your sister how you feel, and then show her that you care about her future.

If you keep on with this gung-ho attitude, she will think you just don't understand, and will make decisions without your input.

If you stay approachable instead and listen to her with kindness, then you keep the door open if she should change her mind.

Then, when she asks for your opinion, which will happen sometime down the road, then you have the opportunity to say "you know sis? I think you can do better", and score one point with her on the side of sanity.

Then if she dumps him, you can kick his ***.

Stay out of it! She is 18, she can do what she wants. Just be there for her. If you are mean to her about this she will push you away and cling more to him. You want to express your concerns about their age difference, but assure her that you will be there for her no matter what. I mean chances are this is going to end badly so make sure she knows she can trust you so when things do go sour she will come to you. Give her her space and let her make her own mistakes. I understand why you would be mad, but if this is what she wants, don't make her hate you by telling her what to do like i said she will rebel. So be a good sister and support her.

well she is a teenager and this is the age of storm and strife and if some one fall in love with any one then it becomes tough for that person to teach that what is right and what is wrong. but you have to become a good judge now and try to find out whether he is a good guy or he is just trying to use her innocency . if you wil go against him and will try to justify anyhing that he is a wrong guy , to her then your sis will go against you and i m sure that you seems to be a very concerning bro. and you want best for your sis. so try to be a good watcher . and try to maker her understand that whether going with him could be better or not for her. if he is a bad guy , then before proving it, collect as many evidences as you can , to make your view pt. stronger and then put in front of her so that she can't deny. but if he is a good one then don't worry at all and let her go. don't loose your mental composure.

Don't kick anyones butt. Realize that your sister is a legal adult, and while you may not like the dating situation, its legal. Tell your sister how you feel. She will appreciate your protectiveness. Many successful relationships have an age difference. It could work out. Good luck.

I am a little sister of 2 older brothers, kick his a*s, not hers. She will have a funny story to tell her husband in a few years.

Kick your own butt, because they're both adults now, it's not perverted if she is over 18.

Don't kick anybody's ***!
She's legal, but if it bothers you that much, then you needed to tell this guy when he first mentioned it that your sister if off limits.
You can't control what happens with your sister, you can only be there to kick his *** after he breaks her heart. :)

I know what you mean bro... The only thing is she is now an adult. If I was in your situation, I would tell him... If you hurt her, I will hurt you. It is the most common threat/promise...
