I got a speeding ticket $156-I was in court to fight that and I found out a lady in the same circumstances as mine got just $86 speeding ticket(Wa state).The judge gave me a stupid/ridiculos explanation....American justice....

Well it would depend on what is stated on the ticket. How fast you were going in a particular zone..
i.e driving 34 mph in a 30 mph zone. whould seem to be lesser of a danger than a person going 85 down a 45mph zone..

May the circumstances of the lady's case is different from yours. Maybe she was going as fast as you were.

dont just pay it because you will get points on your license. you can hire a company that will go to court and fight it for you. they usually dont charge you THAT much.
