I guess I would have to say I am a cat person, seeing as how I have nine of them at this time. My family all love our cats very much, we have, Meatball, Furball, Jade, Harlow, Marnie, Zoro, Gizmo, Noodles and Blackie.
For many years we also had a wonderful and smart Yorkshire Terrier, named Mac. His full name on the AKC register was Carnaby MacDougal the III. He was our little man! Smart as all get out. I honestly could not get another dog after him as no dog could compare to that little character.

I love cats and dogs equally, but with multiple cats there is a greater risk of them sucumbing to outside elements if they are indoor and outdoor cats. I live in the country and it is a fact of life. Dogs, tend to like to stay close to home and are easily trained to go on walks with or without a leash. The same cannot be said for cats, they are more independent so one runs a greater risk of losing a cat.

Of the dogs I love the Pom's and I have had 3 of them now. They have always been a very important part of our family.
Of the cats, I don't currently have one but I've had a very smart and loving Tortoise Shell cat and also I've had 2 Manx cats who I loved dearly. I suppose I am really a dog person but in truth I am probably both.

I like both! But i am definately a dog person! Cats are great but dogs are more interactive pets! Cats dont need you, they can take care of themselves!

I think a cat would suit my lifestyle better, but dogs are cute too. Dogs are higher maintenance though, but they're more loyal. Cats are cool but they're not as friendly as dogs. Some are but from my experience most cats are just too into themselves. Haha.

I love both! I have two cats now, Scooter and Daisy. My little Pomeranian died in August of congestive heart failure, and I miss her terribly. There are good qualities in both cats and dogs. They're just different, that's all! They're all pets that need to be loved.
