A guy seems to always ask you what you think about this and about that. In your mind you feel why does he care what I think, but could it mean that he sees you more than a friend or does he just value your opinion?

Consider:

1. He doesn't really "need" your opinion, he just wants to know you better. By telling your opinions to him, he gets a hint of what your attitudes and characteristics.

2. He's a critical thinker. He wants to know what he may not be thinking, hence, your opinion.

3. MOST OBVIOUS: Communication and Time. Need to know more?

You have a right to be suspicious, however, do give the person a chance as he could be genuinely considerate of your opinions. Given the day and age we live in this might mean he actually holds you in high esteem. If you think he might have a greater interest in you than just a friend, do a self inventory and ask yourself if you can see him as more than a friend. If you can, then ask him how he feels. If not, be kind...let him know you value his friendship but that's all it is. Best wishes....

Whether he values your opinion as a friend or something more serious, it means that he cares about you enough to care what you think. Either way he respects you.

if a guy want to know your opinion every once in a while its one thing, but when he asks a lot, its his way of getting to know you with out coming out and just asking you and possibly feeling like a fool. So if you like him play his little game of "getting to know you" back, and start asking his opinion on things too.. he will get the hint eventually. If not be bold and simply ask him.

Probably both. He must see you as a rather insightful person whose opinion he genuinely respects. However, he may also be inquiring, too, because he sees you as an insightful person whose opinion he respects and whose lips he'd like to kiss. =0) Guys will inquire about your opinion as a way to open up an avenue of conversation so that they can find out more about you.

Similar thing happened to me. I know how you feel. But it's just wishful thinking. Guys ask for your opinion for no serious reason. They just want someone's opinion.

He could have a crush on you and wants to make sure you approve of his/your decisions. Just like Brownie 12 said.

It might also be a way to flatter you. He wants you to know that he values your tastes and decisions.
