I am a Christian... He is not. though both of us understand the many differences between us and are extremelly respectfull and understanding.
But WHAT WOULD GOD THINK about this whole thing?? Could he be against it, considering that both of us are of highest morals and... probably as mature as it can get for well-raised high schools seniors ...
Thank you in advance for your answers! :)

As you mature as a Christian you will notice how much you guys are different its a lot easier dating a believer because you don't have to consistently explain what you do. Differences are cool to an extent but at some point you will notice the difference of dating a non believer, and you will have to compromise. God wont give you anything thats complicated.... keep that in mind

It does say in the Bible not to be unequally yoked.........like a believer with an unbeliver in marriage.

Since we never know when we will fall in love, so dating someone with like beliefs is important.

This person sounds open to have discussions and possible counseling if things get serious. God wants our lives and marriages to be harmonious and that includes our spiritual life as well. Also when children are born, it helps if parents share the same beliefs.

It's great you are asking. Good for you. This is important to discuss and deal with before you get serious.

I would think that Our Lord could not be happiest then when you are happy. He wants what you want. Of course it would make matters easier if you could find someone of your same faith, but sometimes that is difficult because options can be slim. You never know if one day Our Lord will convert your boyfriend due to your faith and love of Him. God bless you and good luck.

if indeed god has chosen are destiny, they god chose your destiny to be with, who you call an "unbeliever". If this wasnt your destiny, then god will do something about it. I say keep dating him and then see what could, or couldn't have happened.

I believe in god and I don't at the same time, but I hope this helps you in someway.

Sorry. IF you want to do the "God" thing...
Bible says "...thou shalt not be unequally yoked..." I understand this to mean that you must be of the same religion.

God only wants us to date, marry & spend our life with those who only are believers.
