Well, there have been many living demons - besides the obvious, Hitler, I would have to say Idi Amin - the Ugandan dictator. It is said that during his dicatatorship he was responsible for approximately 300,000 deaths. He was a master of torture. His edict was to make Uganda a black man's country - so any non Africans were forcibly expelled - if they did not leave they were executed. Any one suspected to be loyal to Amin's predecessor was also executed...violence and hatred was his life.

Demons are spirits, not people. There are really bad ones and not so bad ones. So, there are also super scary ones and not so scary ones. Each demon is individual and can put on its own scary face.
Also the fallen angels (ex cherabims like lucifer & prince of Tier) are not themselves anymore, but a terror. Satan is the biggest terrorist ever.

I believe the book of Revelations calls him the Antichrist. He will be the scariest demon. We have yet to see him.
