I started using Proactive and it has worked really good.
The only bad thing is that you have to use it regularly and cannot stop and it is kinda high priced.

Right now my skin is perfectly clear, for the first time in 3 years. It's been about 9 weeks and all my acne is gone. It is such a great feeling to wake up with clear skin.

I was 16 once, ahhhh the memories anyway if you are looking for a quick fix, like gone in a couple of days quick, toothpaste. Really? you ask, yes I say really. Just take some plain toothpaste, not the gel kind, dab it on your pimples before you go to bed and viola. You may want to put a towel over your pillow case. If that doesn't work check out my website for something a little more scientific. Just punch " acne " into the search engine and go.

I had the same problem, for years. It really pissed me off that I should have been more popular, except for the pimples. I am smart and funny, but they just ate away at my self-esteem. I was determined to get rid of them by hook or by crook.
I tried a whole bunch of things like proactive and others but nothing seemed to work. I tried a few different books and ebooks and nothing helped. Then, I read an awesome e-book that will teach you all the home remedies that you will need to get rid of acne permanently. At first I thought it was too expensive, but then I realized that I pay this much like every month for pimple medicine and washes, and this was a one time thing. Best decision I ever made! They explained exactly what was causing the pimples and how I could stop them and get rid of them. My doctor told me that he knew ome of this stuff, but doctors never like to tell you natural stuff. they only like to tell you about medicines. Not only did it help me stop getting pimples, it also helped clear up my onld pimple scars, which were really pissing me off!
You can learn about the book at this link http://bambiberg.solution72.hop.clickbank.net
I tried some books from my dermatologist, but they didn't help me, plus I kept on forgetting to return them to the library. The best thing about the ebook is that i downloaded it right away, and i had the copy forever.

If you’re looking for accurate acne information, best to see a dermatologist. Some people believe doctors are predisposed to take the easy way to deal with acne… prescription drugs. But, with many, this simplistic answer may not be the appropriate course of action. Some feel that such prescription drugs just treat the symposium and not the underlying cause. But, a local dermatologist is still your best starting point.
For me personally, I discovered a great informational acne treatment site. Not only is there good information/articles but I got their audio e-book and following it’s advice can now say that my acne is a thing of the past! Keep in mind, were all different and there are various types of acne, so what works for some may not be totally effective for all.
Bottom line, hang in there, you will get past this! Sincere best wishes and good luck.
Oh, by the way the site that helped me is:

You may find that taking a zinc supplement (25 mg daily) will clear up your acne for good. Not only that, but zinc has been nicknamed 'the male vitamin' because it is so good for the prostrate gland. It would be good for you to take it for the rest of your days to help prevent any problems there.
One word of caution: DON'T take zinc on an empty stomach! You will feel nauseated. Take it with at least some food.

I have never used anything on my face but clear warm (not hot) water and a washcloth. I'm 47 and have had perhaps 10 blemishes in my life. I also use sunscreen daily. I learnt this from an aunt with beautiful skin.

There are many cheap and effective home remedies for acne. Tomato slices, turmeric, papaya juices and home made face packs will treat existing pimples and prevent further problems. More remedies at http://www.wellnesstalk.org/acne.html

I don't wanna sound like a infomercial but Pro-active really does work. It's mild enough to use daily which is what I use to prevent future out breaks, it really is the best product that I've ever tried ( and if you don't trust me, trust Diddy LOL).
