When we die, the soul lives on, wouldn't that mean the soul is capable of producing dreams which we may or may not have recollections of?

i think our soul is the person we see in our dreams, and we follow through out its many lives, (i mean the important dreams) not the ones of u dreaming of having one night in paris

The Soul lives on. Cant live with out a mind.
So he- the soul is reborn. And continues to dream with the mind.

The bible says dreams come from a over active mind.It also says the soul goes back to God who gave it. So to answer your question no you wont be dreaming after you die.

You state in your question that dreams come from the conscious and subconscious mind. So once you die your mind also dies so where do you propose these dreams to come from then? A dead mind?

According to the Bible, "Apart from the body, face to face with the Lord." In the Old Testament THE RICH MAN WAS IN TORMENT, AND LAZARUS WAS IN PARADISE. JESUS TOLD THE THIEF ON THE CROSS "THIS DAY YOU WILL BE WITH ME IN PARADISE" which was on the day of their deaths. PAUL WENT IMMEDIATELY TO HEAVEN WHEN HE WAS STONED TO DEATH AT LISTRA. So Biblicaly speaking, you go to Heaven, with full consciousness.

No - you have dreams because oxygen is being provided to the brain.
When one dies, their brain shuts down.
