whatever they are interested in make that the theme, and only invite family...... I would do it at home, that is probably best..... make it like 1-2 hours max, and maybe get some party favors for other children..... just small decorating, and a cake with ice cream and juice, or punch......... make it around 1pm, and this way they can nap when it is over......... Just relax and know that accidents happen, and you can't plan for everything...... I am sure it will be fun though!

You want to keep it simple. Try to have it somewhere the child already knows.( like a relatives home) Try to keep the party short and sweet. Since they can become cranky easy . Have food there it is ok for the child to eat. Popcorn, nuts and other food we usually have at parties could cause the child to choke. Since he is only turning 2 keep the games very simple. Like throwing balls in a laundry basket. Make sure all the kids win a prize. They are little and might not understand why they didnt get a prize. You can throw a get party and not be out alot of money since the child is too young to know. You can make the cake or cupcakes yourself. For goodie bags you can go to the dollar store and grab some stuff. At one party i went to my daughter had a toothbrush in there. ( which i loved that idea) Hope this help you on getting started.

I agree to invite family only and make it simple, cake, ice cream, and juice or punch, add a few balloons and party hats. Be careful about the balloons if they pop, so the little ones don't get chocked. 1 to 2 hours should be good on time limit. Even at home a child that young can become overwhelmed when there are a lot of people around.
Most important don't stress about it, relax and have lots of fun. Enjoy every minute of that baby's life.

2 year old is too young for a big party. Things should be kept to 2, max 3 hours.

Also too many people will be overstimulating. Invite only a few people, have cake with them and then let the kids play. Dont make a huge deal out of it, 2 year olds cant handle that yet, they will get confused

We are going to have a mini carnival with a cotton candy maker, Funnel cakes, Corn dog maker, Slurpee maker, and a popcorn maker. I also have a few friend dressing up like clowns (you may not want to do the clowns if a child is afraid) and they are going to make balloon animals. This way it's unique and fun even for the adults.

Depends on what your child likes and whether they are male or female.

My son at 2 I through him a "bug" party. I found stationary with bugs on them to use the invitations. I had bought a blow up ball pit for the kids to play on since at 2 they don't need many activities to keep busy. They can play with each other for fun. For food I had a bug theme, picnic foods (fried chicken, mac and cheese), cup of dirt (oreos, chocolate pudding with gummy worms), fruit kabobs to look like caterpillars, green punch that I called "bug juice" and cupcakes decorated with bugs (butterflys, ladybugs, bumblebees) For goody bags I went to the dollar store and got plastic bug rings and bug stickers and candy. It depends on your child and what their interests are. My son recently turned two and he loves cars so we took him to an indoor play centre where he got to play with cars that you ride like the flintstones for as long as he wanted, he loved it. Basically,, they still don't know whats going on so whatever you do they will probably enjoy it
