If it is a Migraine, you might want to consult your doctor on this.
He/she is the only one you should be taking medical advice from. That's really the safest way to go about it.
Some tips though;
Lay of the coffee and tea when you are having these Migraines because they can contribute to it. That goes for Cola and energizing drinks too. So try to not drink an of that stuff when you're experiencing a Migrain.
Some people also experience that with wine. But that may not be the case for you.
I hope this helps you a little.
Don't forget to go to your doctor if the pain doesn't subside, or if it gets too bad. And take to mind about what i said on the medical advice. Only a doctor should give you that...
Good luck.

Advil gel capsules for migraines are beneficial, and you can buy them over the counter. "AMERG" is another great medication, but, it has to be prescribed by a doctor. I've suffered from migraines since 12, and not all meds work the same for different people. See your doctor and maybe he can prescribe something to ease your pain. Keep an eye on what you are eating, some foods trigger migraines such as cheese, chocolate and caffiene, any food with MSG in too.Extra fluids are okay for mild to moderate headaches, but, a true migraine will need extra strength meds.

1) At the beginning of a migraine, you should take a cup of strong coffee, or strong black tea WITH caffeine. The caffeine shrinks the blood vessels in the back of your neck that are letting the extra blood flow up to your brain. It will be helpful to also take an over the counter medication with this as well, such as Tylenol, or Ibuprofin.
2) Try laying down on your stomach and get someone to run an ice cube up and down your spine. Cooling down your spine also reduces the extra blood pumping in your head during a migraine.
3) If migraines are a continual problem, seriously consider seeing a good chiropractor. If you have a NUUCA chiropractor in your area, they seem to be very good at relieving unusual pain, but try any chiropractor that is available.

Most of these answers have elements of correctness, first, make sure you are not dehydrated, you are just asking for a migraine if you are and anything you take will make it worse short term, before making it better, because the medication will dehydrate you before it can kill the pain, but you can hydrate yourself as you take the medication. I would suggest drinking as much water as you can, like now, even if you have to take the medication now, it will be all about heading off both angles as fast as possible.
As for the medication, if you do not have a prescription, I would suggest Excedrin Extra Strength, it is the exact formula as the Migraine brand, it is just availed in more places, the Migraine Packaging is just that, packaging to attract a buyers eye.
Last, you might want to look in to a piece of dental equipment that helps Migraine Suffers big time, no I have not lost it, it is true.

Hope that helps,

If you have a migraine you need to take whatever migraine medicine the doctor has prescribed for you. If you don't have anything for migraines then you should go to the emergency room and they can give you a shot or other medicine specifically for migraines. If you don't wan to do this then take some pain relief medicine and try to rest in a very dark quiet room.

Try taking 2 ibuprofin (advil or motrin) AND 2 tylenol, maybe tylenol pm, and hiding in a dark room. Your best bet is to sleep it off. You can lessen the symptoms using a heating pad on your neck. Also try drinking something with caffiene, such as coffee or soda, as that will make sure it doesn't get any worse at least. It's very important that you see your doctor about it, as this problem isn't going to go away all by itself. If you live in an area where it is legal, your best bet is to use marijuana, as that will combat both the pain and the nausea, but in most places that is not legal. Good luck either way, I feel your pain.

No drugs needed if you get your back straightened by a chiropractor. Try it, you may find that your spine is out of alignment and all you needed was to get it back where it belongs. It worked for me and I used to have the worst migrains. Least intrusive works, it's at least worth a try, yes? If you do need help with meds for it until then, try excedrine, it has caffiens which helps. One other rememdy that works is to drink two bottles of mountain dew. Good luck.

not sure but it is your choice to do so or not and please don't say its a Christian thing or not (God knows our minds) and if you need to shave for hygienic reasons God is not going to be upset at you come on He is not that way. Yes I am a Christian and I would not misguide you or anyone, but if you need to shave, do it with some Nair or other stuff because if you shave too close to the skin to see how it looks you are going to (or will get) ingrown hair follicles--and this are painful so use some exfoliator. And as you say it is not for showing it is just for you (curiosity but limit it otherwise you will let yourself open to wondering other things) so think before you act. Strip? I guess something is something--you mean a strip of hair down the line right? Still how do you know about strips? just wondering can lead us to trouble so careful where you let you mind wonder; be careful little eyes what you see, careful little ears what you hear. careful little mouth what you say for we represent Him.

For a home remedy, take lots of caffeine (Excedrin has caffeine for that reason)
