I heard plans are underway. Any evidence/sources of this info to confirm or deny.

This is more significant to Messiah coming/return than unbelievers, chaos, war or anything else, I think.

Blessings
David

Yes there is planning and work being done towards the building of the third and final Temple.
Right now time is being spent making and gathering the articles that are required by God (according to the Bible) to be in the Temple.

While there are several groups with different views as to when the Temple should be built--they all agree it will come to pass.
The Temple Institute is the official custodian of all the artifacts and education of the re-building of the Holy Temple on Mt Moriah in Jerusalem.

The re-building of the Holy Temple signals the return of the Messiah for two of the three major religions--that being Judaism and Christianity.
Clearly Islam will not want to see this happen as that would mean much of what they believe would be brought into question causing great confusion for the Muslims.

However, that doesnt change the fact that it will happen. While we as mere mortals find it hard to imagine due to the uproar it will cause--the job belongs to God and it is a part of prophecy that came long before Islam came into being. It is worth noting that Islam is a rather young faith compared to Judaism and Christianity.

While I was there I was honored to see the great Minorah and went through the tunnels under ground that follow the western wall and beyond.

This is why there was protests in 2000 when Sharon went to visit and why there is in-fighting by the people who are charged with honoring all 3 faiths and protecting each faiths interests there.

The Muslims are doing excavating work under the Mosque in violation of these agreements and it is claimed they are destroying ancient remenants as they dont want anything to come to light that would validate the Temples past placement on Mt Moriah.

Understand that there is a very large network of tunnels and ancient sites under the Old City.
When your down there standing on bedrock that is 3000 plus yrs old--it is just beyond awesome.
Anyone interested in pictures I took--just send a msg.

I've spoken with people who have seen first had the plans to rebuild the temple, including items that will be used when it is completed. I even heard a pastor tell a story about a time when he was in Israel and a riot broke out because people started hauling out blocks to start rebuilding.

Will there be a time in the near future when the political climate will permit rebuilding? Only the Lord knows the answer to that question.

I believe the temple will never be re-built due to religious strains (3 religions fight over Jerusalem). Its true that there are plans made usually by fanatics who dream of the coming of the Messiah. If you look closely at the Jerusalem map you will see why its impossible to re-built it where it was.

I have difficulties believing that it can happen!
Can you imagine the Arabs reaction if such thing was going on?!
nor do I think it should... this country has enough problems even without trying to pull such a major project (and I doubt that even the Israelis could bring themselves to agree on such thing)

Oh, and Ahmad, when is the last time you've been to
the western wall? it is a real as Mecca is, I can assure you!

People of Israel have to unite first.

You made a mistake, change "rebuild" to "build". Because nothing is there.
