Yes - It is because of Karma. In these days, people generally do not be believe in Karma, god and all. But some incidents make us to believe this and i believe it. In my case my wife is very health conscious and she even did not get head ache even once. Health wise she was very perfect. She did not have any bad habits. She is 55 years old and suddenly one day the disease showed up and it was Stage IIIB Cervix Carcinoma. She had all sort of treatments and for the past two and a half year she is suffering. What do you say for this. Is it not Karma ? What is Karma - read-

Karma (Sanskrit: कर्म from the root kṛ, "to do") is a word of ancient origin meaning action or activity and its subsequent results (also called karma-phala, "the fruits of action"). It is commonly understood as a term to denote the entire cycle of cause and effect as described in the philosophies of a number of Dharmic Religions such as Hinduism and Buddhism.

Karma is a sum of all that an individual has done, is currently doing and will do. Individuals go through certain processes and accompanying experiences throughout their lives which they have chosen, and those would be based on the results of their own creations: "karma". Karma is not about retribution, vengeance, punishment or reward. Karma simply deals with what is. The effects of all deeds actively create past, present and future experiences, thus making one responsible for one's own life, and the pain and joy it brings to others. In religions that incorporate reincarnation, karma extends through one's present life and all past and future lives as well.

At the same time you should not blame only Karma for all bad things and you should not have bad habits like smoking, drinking etc. etc.-

i personally do believe in karma and if i didnt i would still say that what you are doing is wrong. You can do so much more with your life instead of partying and smoking weed all the time. You might say that it is no big deal now but you have to look into this if you were diagnosed with cancer and then died then yu would be losing your whole life. you may not know this now but the the world may not mean anything to you but u mean the world to your family and freinds. What would you do if you were an outsider looking in. what if your brother or sister or one of ur dearest friends died because of what you were doing. now imagine how they would feel if it happened to you.

Hope i could help. Please look into it.

Karma doesn't give you cancer. I would cut back not just because of the risk of cancer, but emphysema, asthma, less energy and stamina, depression, etc. Sounds like you're trying to numb out some kinda unhappiness. Karma says you will be happy again!

Only in the logical sense. ie - if a man spends his time associating himself with nasty people and commits horrible deeds - then eventually, he'll annoy the wrong person and he'll get his comeuppance. The same is true in reverse. If you're always doing kind and generous things, eventually someone will repay you in kindness. Live by the sword, die by the sword - but you can call it Karma if you like.

Karma is something someone believes in. If you believe in karma, then if you did something bad, eventually it will come back and bite you in the butt.

short answer is yes, it will hurt you eventually.

long answer is alcohol and weed, like most things in excess, can be very harmful. maybe not giving you cancer but causing other compromises to your health such as emphysema or liver damage.
