for me it has always been about religion.....the giving and wishing Christ happy birthday ( even though I know it isn't his true birthday)

but lately it has become a lot more commercial...all around me in the stores they put up Christmas decorations in the middle of Nov. and start to put toy commercials on TV. More and more it intrudes into our daily lives.

at times I get bogged down in it all, then I remember what Christmas is all about, I start to feel better.

I don't like Christmas at all. There's no meaning behind it, just a sea of debt. I go throught the motion for my kids, but if we lived in an area with homeless shelters, guess where we'd be working on Christmas Day.

We do know that this is not the day or month Jesus was born. We just set this one day which is in the month of Dec. out of the year to celebrate Jesus's birth.

What do you expect with Santa being the central attaction and church services being cancelled when Christmas falls on Sunday?
