All you have to do to get to heaven is to love God and love others. Yes, I know that this is harder than it sounds, and it's true that you will fail in this at times. I do, we all do. But take courage from Peter's example. Even Peter - the first among the apostles, the father of the Church, the revered saint - even Peter denied the Lord three times. Yet all he had to do was repent, and he was forgiven. No threats, no harsh words, no remonstrances. Just love. This is how God is with us. Do your best, and when you sin, tell God you're sorry. Then try to do better next time. That's all you need to do. Don't be afraid of God, what he desires most is to help you be with him.

As for finding his voice, look for him in the simple things in life. In your family, in nature, in the love of others. Volunteer for some sort of community service - Habitat for Humanity, a soup kitchen, Jumpstart; something that pleases you. Spend time in prayer, using your own words. Tell him how your day's been. Treat him as a friend rather than as some unreachable deity. As the Bible says, "Knock, and the door will be opened unto you..."

God doesnt care about your sins. That is why Jesus died. He did it so that your sins would be covered up. If you are sorry for what you did, God knows it! He loves you no matter what. You even said you are a sinner, you know they are sins. Everyone makes mistakes. And I admire you for trying hard! God knows you are trying. Pray for him to help you; and help yourself by getting your self away from the things that make you sin. Just keep trying and praying. And GO TO CHURCH. If you go every Sunday, you will be reminded to keep your promise and to obey.

I have found that people without GOD and JESUS feel like there is an emptiness inside of them. Like if they get the cutest clothes, wear a miniskirt, get a boyfriend/girlfriend, ect, then they wont feel an emptiness anymore. And once you get those things, you dont fell the emptiness (or you dont think you do) for a short amount of time. Then the emptiness comes back. Only having GOD and JESUS in your heart will make that emptiness be filled.

If you really want the emptiness to be filled, and to know his voice, just tell him! And as hard as it is, it will get easier!

It is not about not sinning to go to heaven, but to do Gods will because you know it is right and you want to obey him because he made you. Also, READ THE BIBLE.

I HOPE YOU BECOME A SIBLING IN GOD`S FAMILY! GOOD LUCK!

Dear Chosen, The way we enter into the narrow gate, the way of eternal life, is through Repentance and faith in Jesus Christ. let me explain why by asking you a few questions...............

Have you ever lied (even once--fibs, white lies, etc.)? Ever stolen (anything--the value is irrelevant)? Jesus said, "Whoever looks upon a woman to lust after her, has committed adultery already with her in his heart." Have you ever looked with lust? If you have said "Yes" to these three questions, by your own admission, you are a lying, thieving, adulterer at heart; and we’ve only looked at three of the Ten Commandments. your correct when you say that is seems impossible to keep sin out and live perfectly. you have broken the Commandments, and I have broken the Commandments, and because God is Holy and Just, he must give us the Punishment we deserve, which is Hell. But there is incredibly good news. God sent His Son to take our punishment: "God commended His love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." He was bruised for our iniquities. Jesus then rose from the dead and defeated death.
Your own so-called “goodness” can’t get you into heaven any more than mine could. Jesus is the only way to Heaven. He is the "Door," the only "mediator." There is salvation in no other name. God Loves you so Much, He made a way for you to be forgiven, despite the fact you and I have shaken our fist at God. there is only one way. Repent, This means to Not only be sorry for your sins, but turn from them and forsake them. the Bile also says to trust in Jesus, this means you put your all on Him, you literally trust him like you would trust a parachute. repent and turn from sin, God is so merciful and ready to forgive you, Jesus died because God knew you could never meet his standard. Repent and trust in Jesus today.
God Bless

i feel exactly the same way right now.

and it is worse than before..because i now "know" the truth and have a formed conscience...

i am very hard on myself and always feel condemmed, whether i sin or not.

looking deep within myself (and i think this is true of a lot of people) i find that i am most tempted to sin when i am frustrated with something or feel a sense of hoplessness.

i always fear...that i will be one of those people who jesus commands departure of because he never knew me.

one minute iam enthusiastically faithflu, the next i surrender to temptaion. it is like he said, i have no root and last a short time.
i wish i knew what to do.

Simply ask God for forgivness and ask Him to give you the strength you need to do His will. We're all sinners, but God still accepts us. I will also pray for you.

Follow the commandments. Serve others. Try to be humble. Always be nice. If you do not favor someone, try to dislike them, but not hate them. Try to see the good in everyone. Pray, and go to Church. God bless.

Isaiah 64:6 But we are all as an unclean [thing], and all our righteousnesses [are] as filthy rags; and we all do fade as a leaf; and our iniquities, like the wind, have taken us away.
