Chemotherapy works by targeting ALL actively replicating cells in the body ,good and bad.The reason you get sick and lose your hair is that two of the most replicating types of cells in our body are hair follicle cells and stomach lining cells.Go to the Health Sciences Institute website.I belong to this and although there are no curealls for cancer they do offer some promising alternatives to chemo.GOOD LUCK AND MY PRAYERS ARE WITH YOU>

Chemotherapy works by introducing toxic chemicals (drugs) into the body to kill the cancer cells. Chemtherapy is also used to suppress a person's immune system prior to a bone marrow transplant.

Immunotherapy involves triggering the person's immune system to destroy the cancer cells.
Hormone therapy uses hormone suppression to shut down the cancer's ability to reproduce.

Radiation uses large doses of xray targeted onto the tumour(s) to destroy the cancer cells.

Ya got surgery, chemo and radiation, and some people believe there are also dietary cures. And for those who believe in God, prayer.
