Preferably not too expensive, and where can I buy it from?

I don't have bad acne or anything but a few spots here and there from my teenage years. Also I want to fight wrinkles and aging before it starts, although, I'm only 23.

Stay away from anything with Propylene Glycol, Parabens, and Sodium Laurel or Laureth Sulfate.

Over the counter and not too much $$$$$$$$ is Burts Bees.

Professional skin care from a dermatologist or spa, which is better but costs much more is Cosmedix.

Your question is the opposite of what people ask me all the time how do I keep my face clear, what do I use and I tell nothing that you won't have at home already. Crazy as this may be you have to watch what you eat, and what you put in you hair. These can have long time effects I say go with pure water every day, use mudd mask once a week to help get with dry skin after that some vaseoline. And if you find yourself getting a bump here and ther put a small amount of toothpaste on it...

Over this past year for some reason I have started breaking out & having lots of blackheads. It disgusts me. I researched & researched trying to find something that would work & I did find something that has worked for me. I realise it may not work for you or everyone out there. However, I bought Klear Action. I don't know if you've heard of it, but it compares to Proactiv yet it's 1/2 the price. It sales for $19.99 or that's what I bought it for at Walgreens. I'm not sure who else sales it but you can find it over the Internet. It comes with the 3 step process. You get your wash, your toner, & your lotion. The lotion really keeps your skin from drying. It has really really cleared my skin up. I get a bump on occasion but for the most part I'm clear. My blackheads are even gone. I saw a difference & that it was working within 2 days. It wasn't all gone that quick but I saw a drastic change in my face. I wash my face twice a day in it most of the time, but there's days I only get one wash in. I hope this helps. Good Luck~

If you have problematic skin you need to go to a cosmetic counter and ask them about their skin improvement lines. If you simply want to get your skin clearer without so much effort then I would go to the drugstore and get a face wash bar, an exfoliator, a toner and a moisturizer. Us the face wash first, then once a week the exfoliator, then the toner, then the moisturizer. Repeat this process morning and evening.

As crazy as it sounds, one of the best moisturizers for your face, that helps reduce small wrinkles, is Preparation H hemorrhoid cream. It has an ingredient that helps shrink skin and reduce those small cracks.

I was told by a professional face cream researcher, that Preparation H is used by a lot of models, just as they are going on stage, and by a great many New York City people.

I have found it to be the best buy - from your local drug or grocery store.

Try it, it works. Lenore Hodges, PhD, RD, LD

I was watching a news show and it said that the regular Oxy pads are just as good as proactiv. I also found this really great PanOxyl Bar Acne Wash that works really good it cost about 5 dollars and its in the facial cleansing section. I also highly recommend any of the neutrogena products.

Ditto on Mary Kay. Great Anti-aging line that is formulated to prevent breakouts as well. It is lower than almost all department store brands, plus lasts forever! I don't have to replace nearly as often as I have had to do with other products. Plus, all the MK products are guaranteed. I sell MK, but do look at the other answerers website-she was right on the money.

For a regular soap that is really great adding moisture is Aveeno. I like their products. It's good also if you have sensitive skin. If you have any serious conditions, as acne or such, I can't suggest. Have you tried Proactiv?
