Well isn't that a pretty piece of propaganda. And written by Anonymous too. Didn't even have the decency or courage to reveal his/her name. What hogwash! And you wear it so well too. It does suit you to a T. That malarkey doesn't explain homosexuality but only your own ego-centrism. You even had the impertinence to choose homosexualityexplained as your online name, as though that made you any sort of expert on the subject. You think the universe revolves around you and your beliefs. How's that working for you by the way?

OK. I did you the favor of reading your propaganda. Now you return the favor in kind please and read this article "When religion loses its credibility" written by a Baptist minister who, I trust you'll take note, is not afraid or ashamed to reveal his name and affiliation.

what I think is gays should get all the benefits other couples have, why should they be exempt from the hardships of commitment, however I think they should find a new name and not use marriage, that way they do not push their freedom down the throats of some other people.

Gay marriage is an oxymoron.

Same thing I always thought about it - it's wrong.

If God hated the sin of homosexuality so much that He BURNED TO THE GROUND the cities of Sodom & Gomorrah for it then who am I to condone it today? If I stand for gay marriage I might as well be telling God, "GO AHEAD! Come burn my town to the ground too! I don't mind really because at least I'm being politically correct."

Let's get one thing straight. God is the same yesterday, today and forever. If He considered homosexuality an abonimation way back when He feels the same about it today. As moral humans we ALSO used to feel the same way about it but as our morals have slacked and God is being kicked out of schools and now we are trying to get His name off our money and out of our pledge of allegiance the sin of homosexuality suddenly isn't so bad to us anymore. It's politically correct to support the gays. Sorry, but that's one bandwagon I won't be jumping on.

i still 100% disagree. I have faith yes, but i dont believe that my god would shun someone for being gay when they were born that way..after all, he made them. and also, i dont think it is right for us as people to shun them. And when it basically says we are going downhilll for accepting gays, that isn't right...Were we going down hill for accepting other races, ending slavery, having freedom of religion?? no..we are growing. We are coming to realize that people should all be treated with love and respect. They are not harming us by being gay..nor do other religions harm us. I think we need to open our eyes and realize that we should not judge others based on silly things like sexual preference that really dont make a damn bit of difference in the end.

Well, for one thing the person who wrote it contradicts his own thesis statement: "Therefore, I have taken it upon myself to show you, from NATURE, precisely why homosexuality is confusion, illogical and WRONG." He spends approximately 90% of his argument talking about YHWH and the Bible.

For another thing, he lists no sources for his ideas (besides the Bible, of course), and yet attempts to attack vague references to scientific studies--at one point because he just didn't like the results. I believe he said they were "laughable," even though he offers no contradictory studies.

For another thing, he makes no argumen as to why gay people should not legally be allowed to marry, just that his religion thinks it immoral, which is something I assume all Americans know.

So I suppose my final conclusion is: gay people should be allowed to legally marry, because there is no LEGAL reason why they can't. A person's religious convictions do not make laws for everyone else. My OTHER final conclusion is that the author of this article needs to take a class or two on rhetoric and argument.

The same way I've always felt about gay marriage; homosexuality is an abomination unto the Lord, let not anyone think that God will ever bless such unions nor condone them. Excellent article, by the way
"Therefore God gave them up to uncleanness, in the lusts of their hearts, to dishonour their bodies among themselves, who exchanged the truth of God for THE lie, and worshipped and served the creature rather than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen. For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. For EVEN THEIR WOMEN exchanged the NATURAL use for what is AGAINST NATURE. Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due" -Romans 1:4-27. Was there any part of that you people didn't understand?
The proof that it is immoral is that it is plainly and blatantly unnatural. The proof that it is unnatural is that it is impossible -and I emphatically emphasize the word impossible- for same sex couples to procreate/reproduce.
