Why not Judaism or Islam? What is it about Christianity that makes it so vulnerable to dissension?

Judaism and Islam have also...it is a matter of power. Think my way or I will split off and be against you.

There are two reasons for this.
Private judgment of scripture leads to divisions, and this is why there are 30,000 different Protestant denominations. It was invented by the reformers when Nominalism was the mind-set of the times.
Second is the rejection of the Real Presence of Jesus in the Eucharist that causes division. The Bible clearly says it is ONE BREAD, not a bunch of little breads. The Church is an extension of the Incarnation, united in the Eucharist.
The Church Is One (Rom. 12:5, 1 Cor. 10:17, 12:13, CCC 813–822)
Jesus established only one Church.
His Church also teaches just one set of doctrines, which must be the same as those taught by the apostles (Jude 3). This is the unity of belief to which Scripture calls us (Phil. 1:27, 2:2).
Although some Catholics dissent from officially-taught doctrines, the Church’s official teachers—the pope and the bishops united with him—have never changed any doctrine. Over the centuries, as doctrines are examined more fully, the Church comes to understand them more deeply (John 16:12–13), but it never understands them to mean the opposite of what they once meant.

i do no longer choose to sound advise or something like that yet, why could you elect to connect some style of Christian "sect"? in case you think, and that i'm assuming which you do, then would not you elect the genuine Christ somewhat than the candy lined "crud" it fairly is floating around? The word says that He could have you ever the two be "warm" or "chilly" for in case you're lukewarm then he will spue(spit) you out of His mouth. an excellent style of Christianity is purely the action and not the action. He needs to be each little thing of your being and He must be preeminent on your existence. Colossians a million:18. you're saying you elect a sect it fairly is fairly comfortable and fully liberal. What you're saying is that each thing is going with you and you do no longer innovations hypocrisy in any respect. i don't get it. Why even call your self a Christian if it fairly is the form of Christianity you elect?

Christian countries are freer than Islamic countries so it is much easier to splinter without the traditional religious slaughter of heretics. Judaism is a much smaller religion so there are fewer people to splinter.

Because of deception of the devil. True Christianity is still the same. The Word of God says that God is the same today, yesterday and forever more. If God is still the same, and He is, then what it took to be a Christian from the beginning still holds true now. It is just that the devil has tried to come in and decieve people so that they willl become lost. May God Bless

It is a philosophy of love and freedom. This opens the door to those who would interject their opinoin with Father God's. So many people want to do God's will, their way.

more proof the bible is nonsense...
not only does the bible exist in over a hundred different versions and translations, each claiming to be the correct word of god...
but, look at all the denominations of christianity. each claiming THEIR way of worship is right, and the parts of the bible that THEY pick THEY claim are right....and the other denominations are wrong...
...the people who claim to worship the bible and jeebus cannot even agree on how to do it and what is right...so they have broken up into over 200 denominations of christianity in the U.S. alone!!!
...plus some of them are even into cannibalism, and even encourage their kids to eat the flesh of jeebus and drink his blood IN THEIR CULT BUILDINGS!!! go figure THAT one out!!!!
70% of the people on earth reject it....the remaining who want to belive in it can't agree on it.
what does it take for you to see it for the nonsense that it is???

The cause is a confusing bible which contradicts itself all over the place and using it you can make God Batman and Jesus Robin if you want.

Because religion is just a way to control people. There is no god. It is just something for people to believe when they are afraid of death, or it is brainwashed into them as children.
