In the early 20s women might seek the excitement of a man who is attractive and exhilirating. As they age (typically after college) and seek to start a family women will seek a more stable, responsible man. This might seem like "money" but will be more accurately someone who would make a good father. Income is part of that, but general intelligence and being worthy of respect would be equally important.

Maturity and Independence. By the time you get into your twenties, girls don't exactly swoon over men that still live at home and depend on mommy and daddy! If you are honest, decent, and independent - that's all u need.
