Oldguy63, Thank you.
I am oldlady70. Numbers are best for me to learn with. I seem to be the only one. You are close to it, Abraham 2058 less Gen.12:4; age 75 is 1983 Promised Land covenant.
To 1/2 mil. heirs get the law of Moses Exo.7:7; 12:40,41; Gal.3:16-18;
430 years.
Num.33:38,39 40th year Aaron dies, Deut,34:7; 40th year Moses dies, 1513. Josh.5:6,10,12 End of 40 years all in the Promised Land 1512, less Judges 11:26; 300 is 1212 Before Christ.
Acts 13:20,21 Samuel and Saul.
[ 450 less 1553 is 1103 + 80 is 1183 Samuel]; King Saul 1117 - 40 - 1077.
King David 1107 - 70 - 1037. Solomon.
Iki.6:1; 4th year [ 480 less 1513 = 1033 ];
Iki.11:42 Solomon dies 1033 - 36 = 997 before Christ.
So now we know 430 years Abraham to Law Exo.12:40,41; Gal.3:16-18 sure is in the bible in O.T. and in N. T.

I always just remember the general figures,
Abraham about 2,000 years BC
Moses 1500 years BC
David 1000 years BC

Matthew 1:17 So all the generations from Abraham to David are fourteen generations; from David to the deportation to Babylon, fourteen generations; and from the deportation to Babylon to the Messiah, fourteen generations.

There is not a verse that states it--but somewhere it says 400 years of bondage.... I think the Israelites were in Egypt for 400 years.
