Some would really not like it. Personally, I would love it if it was good poetry, and still would really be flattered if it wasn't.

If the guy is a jock-type, the odds are he won't like it. If he's more the cerebral type, odd are he'll love it. Keep in mind that MANY guys are totally clueless when it comes to romance, and poetry is often a romantic expression.

your probably getting more of a kick out of it than we are.....guys have a built in thing that really starts to kick in after marriage...our ears have a built in mute button. It can get us in big trouble too. LOL....action speaks louder than words.

It would depend on who wrote it. I'd probably laugh or want to but wouldn't because I wouldn't want to hurt her. Just write it, he'll enjoy it.
