wouldnt it be a lot better place to be then heaven, I mean heaven would be full of hand clapping bible bashers saying i told you so and hell would be full of the rest of us having a good time commiting as much sin as we wanted, why would the devil punish us for going against god?

As an Irishman you certainly have inherited the nack for telling stories but have disinherited the faith that has withstood the test of time to become the largest religion in the world.
As an Irish/Italian Catholic I can assure you your concepts of heaven and hell are way off. The Fatima children saw a soul being torn to pieces by demons as it was plunged into hell. Do not be deceived by your current concepts. HELL DOES EXIST!

Many people believe they will die and go to hell and party with their buddies. Satan, being the king of lies and deceit, would like everyone to believe this. How sad for the countless millions that have died thinking that(or not believing in heaven/hell at all) ,only to be gnashing their teeth the very next moment, with no chance of going back. Accept Christ while there's time because time is short. Countless prophecies have come true to prove it.

According to the Bible the Devil does not run hell; it is a place that was made for the Devil and his demons and where he will be placed in the end when Christ returns.
Hell is not fun, hell is not for you, me, and anyone else. It is for Satan and his horde.
Only those who reject the Truth find themselves there, tragically misplaced instead of with their Creator.

That description sounds like Earth - heaven will not be like that - the things of sin will be gone.
Hell will be worse than anything you can imagine - don't appease yourself thinking it will be some kind of party - that is what Satan would want people to think. Eternal suffering does not sound like something anyone would want.
