i dont like the players...i like the good guys..i like the nice guys...i like the nerdy guys that most girls think they are too good for...yet...
it is heartbreaking because...most guys complain they cant get a nice girl...or that nice guys finish last..
i met a guy..we have alot in common..but i want to know him better..even just as a friend...
he doesnt call..i have to call him..he acts shy..but he still doesnt even try...i try not to call him...but i want to get to know him better..but it must be that he just doesnt want to get too close!
and he is one of the "nice " guys! nicest of nice!!!
it really hurts..i like the guys that...often are overlooked..i think they are beautiful..
what is wrong? what am i doing wrong?
is it an age thing???? do guys just want the hottest or most beautiful girl??? what do college guys really want??
i mean the nice ones?

Well, I don't know what to tell you. I'm a nice guy, and that guy sounds incredibly shy compared to me. Maybe you need to step up your efforts. I know that it must hurt to be rejected. All I can tell you about what nice college guys want is from my own perspective: I want to be loved by some girl who isn't an ogre! That guy probably isn't any different, but he could be more shy than most. Don't give up just yet. Good luck!

I was a nice, quiet, shy guy. We don't always know what we want either. In general a pretty girl is nice, but if you are around, talking to the guy, you should become close to one another. All the "obvious" things like showing interest in things he likes and sharing one of those experiences with him will help.
When college is over, more of those guys realize that all the beautiful women who used to be around, no longer are. Shame for them...

He's a nice guy with a self-esteem problem.
Maybe he cant get over the fact that someone as hot as you, want to know him???? lol
Act cool and dont seem too desperate, be yourself and be friendly, if he's as nice as he says he'll try to appreciate you and see what you see in him.

The guy who acts shy probably DOES like you- he doesn't have a very good confidence level - most "nice guys" DON'T have a very great self-esteem thanks to getting passed over by the "beautiful people"- I stay stick with it> call him, and then remind him to call you. Guys are very focused; get him to focus on you.

just ask god for the man of youre dreams and it will happen just wait and see go lets things happen for a reason this is the time that you work on youre self and love youre self before you can love any one else dont look for it it will come to you trust me god is the answer good luck

im totally in your shoes........ive never had a bf but i really want one....though i am still in hs...but still, there are nice guys but every time i meet one they turn out to have a mean, popular side its confusing...and i want to ask one tomorrow if he'll go to the winter fling with me, but im so scared cause i don't even have his number and we only talk in a few classes...good luck though

You are 100 % right.Players are losers.Some college guys only want to play with girls,and have sex.Others are mature guys,never players.Good question.
