Tom Brokaw is respected in journalism and he has spent many years covering the Middle East. Americans believe a lot of what he says. His interview at Fordam Univ. was broadcast to this nation. He says that peace in that region is improbable because of Islamic extremist and that terrorism in America will increase. Please give me your opinion.

If that is true then it is!But there are also more then 20million non-muslims that wana destroy muslims. The thing goes both ways. In every country there are thousands-millions that hate muslims becoz of these so-called muslim extremists.Then do you blame those muslim for feeling threatnend?
I am not trying to defend those muslims.I am just saying that this goes both ways.Aslong as the media keep only portraying muslims as terrorists muslims will retaliate, not all muslim, only a few with realy bad tempers.So will westerners hate muslims becoz of the media's portrayel.
Many muslim leaders speak out against it any there are those that condone it.Just like many americans and israeli's speak out agaist it and many condone it.
The thing is that media almost never show it coz its not 'good-tv', to them the more violence the better.
Also there are many non-muslim countries that are also having wars, South america, the former Soviet Union - countries, North Korea is a treat,Uganda-there are christian terrorist,Ireland have christian terrorist, Sri Lanka has rebels.
It all comes down to the media and how seriously you take it.Unless you do research for yourselve, you will never understand the real situation that is going on.

You think its the muslim extremists? I just dont get this, why dont people watch the real facts instead of just blindly following what CNN or BBC says. The media is completely biased against Islam. If you watch "loose change", you will definitely come to a conclusion that the 9/11 was an inside act. More excuses to plunder the Oil resources of Iraq.
It was excellent planning by the US government. Its not my word, its the word of the experts who analysed the entire situation, simulated etc.
Now if your government can attack any nation on any baseless charge, its called as "Fight against Terrorism", Its called as "Fight for freedom"
600,000 lives lost in Iraq. Is this Freedom??? 300,000 lives in Afhganistan. Is this Freedom???
The US govt didnt have the approval from the UN, still its not an issue when it went to war with Iraq. But when you kill thousands of muslims, rape their women (check what the marines are doing in Iraq), destroy their children's future, you dont expect them to retaliate, and then still say "Hey there is an increase in the Terrorism!!!"

It does say something like "death to all infidels" in the Koran....but I doubt the number is accurate unless someone like Hitler rises to power in the Islamic world...which is probable considering we have pissed a lot of Arabs off by repeatedly invading their countries and playing political poker with their lives...On second thought I do believe it is correct.
