It goes like this: 911 attacks. End of Taliban regime (not completely). Osama diverted attention towards Iraq. Weapons of mass destruction hidden b4 U.S. troops arrived. Oil prices soar. New Iraqi govt formed. U.S. troops deployed in Iraq. Bush administration lost control of HOR & Senate. Rumsfeld quits. Bolton quits too. UN opposes Iraq war (Kofi Annan doesn't know what to do at what time).
Mr. Bush (PRESIDENT OF UNITED STATES OF AMERICA) still opposes any proposals to bring back U.S. troops from Iraq. I don't think there's any issue in Iraq such as gas pipeline (as it was in Afghanistan). He knows he's going to step down in 2008. But still he insists to keep the troops in Iraq, WHY???? I know Iraqi govt is doing nothing but **** to control the situation coz of some corrupted officers.
But I'm interested to know the reason why U.S. troops are still present in Iraq and why President is still arguing about keeping them there??? Don't think blindly. He may have vital reasons.

I must say I believe Osama Bin Laden is DEAD. Troops were sent to Iraq coz of Weapons of Mass Destruction. Although Saddam dumped or moved them before U.S. forces arrived (i guess to Syria). No way he could have transferred it to Iran. Iran-Iraq war history.

Why is the President still arguing about keeping them there?
Because he's the "DECIDER", yo.
He's already made that decision for us, so people will continue to pay with their lives because he doesn't want to look bad.
It's like a bad investment spiral. Your stock goes down a whole bunch, but you don't pull your money out because you think it'll go back up, the market has fluctuations like that and you're in it for the long haul. But it doesn't. It keeps going lower and lower, so low in fact, you'd look INSANE to pull your money out and take such a big loss of all you've invested in it. And then before you know it their money is going...going.... gone.
Our president put all our stock in a war we can't win. It was a horrible investment, and now we're just stuck in that same downward spiral.
Enjoy the ride.

regardless of how we view our troops in Iraq, i might guess this is extra significant how the Iraqis viewing our troops in Iraq. And something of the Muslim international locations. honestly there are some Iraqis and Muslims who see their females and youngsters being blown up, and characteristic the violence to our presence. and each son or daughter that gets blown up has a relatives. And a sort of kin may well be mad sufficient to combat decrease back. in the event that they think of the blood is on OUR palms, we only made yet another terrorist. extra effective by employing style of civilian deaths divided by employing a useful parent who've a minimum of one relative loopy sufficient accountable us and actual do some thing to retaliate...i might say by employing the time this is throughout, there will be so lots extra terrorists in Iraq than as quickly as we began this mess. and that i gotta say, we are there back for what? I remember the 9/11 hijackers being Saudis...yet i think they get a bypass. no longer that i presumed retaliation grow to be the main suitable concept. (yet mom!! He hit me first!!!) Like spoiled sons and daughters, and an countless, mindless cycle.

No, sorry, no one knows why U.S. troops are still in Iraq. Even worse than that, no one knows why U.S. troops were sent into Iraq in the first place . . . except as a means of making a lying, borderline moron draft dodger look like a "war President" for the '04 election cycle. (All of which is another way of saying, "Mission Accomplished.")

I think some of your "it goes like this" lines are a bit off base, but basically, even though we shouldnt have gone into Iraq in the first place, it would eff things up worse now if we left before things were more stabilized.

I don't think there is any real reason for OUR u.s troops to still be in Iraq. I also don't believe he has any "vital reasons" because I do believe Bush knows how to think. Our troops need to come home because we have problems in our OWN country that we need to deal with.

If we pulled out of Iraq right now their whole system would crumble. Until Iraq can stand on its own 2 feet we can not just leave them hangin.
