I am trying to come up with a bread product for a marketing class and came up with the idea of selling bread with two half loaves, one half of white and one half of wheat in one package, individually wrapped for people who enjoy using different kinds of bread for different purposes or for smaller households where people enjoy different kinds of bread but don't want to buy two full loaves because they will mold.

Great idea. Our family likes both and then you could choose what you want depending on your mood. Such a great idea. You could have all sorts of combo bread packages. I think you could market that pretty well-good for health-conscious parents and their kids' lunch and all that.

This is an interesting idea but what I have found is that most people usually stick to one kind of bread...like people who like white bread...they will own use white and dislike the taste of whole-grain bread...so they never bother to buy it and 2 loaves would result in waste for them....and other people, particularly those who are health-conscious, only want 100% whole wheat bread, and they wont touch white bread.....so these 2 groups are hard to sell to...but those large families will definitely benefit from such a product.

Good luck.

Sounds like a cool idea, I love wheat, but the rest of my family likes white. If there was a loaf with both, then I could finally get some wheat. I never get to buy wheat, because I'm the only one that will eat it and half of it goes to waste.

Wheat bread is often the greater efficient of the two. Wheats in lots of circumstances have greater nutrition B6, nutrition E, magnesium, folic acid, copper, zinc, and manganese. one hundred% finished wheat/finished grain additionally has alot greater fiber in it than wheat bread made w/ purely wheat flour. universal wheat bread is fairly rubbish. Like working example a save type wheat bread. Alot of the time the only distinction between their wheat and white bread is caramal coloration. don't be fooled with the aid of bread that lists the flour as purely wheat flour. It would not inevitably advise it relatively is the terrific. Any bread fairly that purely says "wheat bread" no longer "finished wheat" breads is commonly a mix of wheat and bleached flour.

That is a good idea for two people that like different kinds, but not for me. I am single and I only like one kind of bread.

Nope!!
The only white bread that we eat in our house is in the form of dinner rolls, hot dog or hamburger buns & homemade white. Store bought white bread is disgusting. Tatses like pure starch.
We have Roman Meal Multi Grain Bread...
