today, during school, eric (the guy i'm in love with) told me that him and his girlfriend broke up, but i didn't believe it until later on. then he asked me to go somewhere with him, so i did. first we went into this class room with only the two of us and he hugged me a few times when we were on the couch, then he asked me if i wanted to go to his house (don't get the wrong idea, we didn't do anything), and he hugged me a few more times when we were walking to his car. i really didn't know what to say, so when we got in his car, he started putting on all these songs to make himself feel better, i guess he was really sad, but he didn't really act like he was sad at all! and he was the one who broke up with her. what should i do?

i would wait untill he like gives you a sign to tell him how you feel. for now just comfort him and hug and stuff. he'll come around and probably ask you out. that's the reason he dumped her. so wait and see. im guessing that was a no.

It's not just yes or no here.You need remember that he is on the rebound and his emotions are still stressed.If you really like him and are going into this knowing that you may be that girl to get him through the break up then go for it(it may not end that way but keep in mind it could), or if you aren't wanting a relationship with him, are undecided on whether you can deal with him straight out of a break up the answer is no.Don't jump though...think about it for a while....If he really likes you then he will be there when you make up your mind...this will also give him time to think about what he wants....time for him to give you hints on what he wants with you...Good luck!

leave it a little while then let him know your interested in him after all he broke up with her he might not want another girlfriend right away he might be just looking for a one off thing and you dont want that cause your 'in love' with him.
