Why do a lot of people on here post questions such "i hate skinny people they are anorexic b****es and blah blah they are on drugs" yet they don't think once on being in a really skinny persons shoes. At least if you are heavy you can do something about it, unless its a medical condition. But if you are skinny and have a fast metabolism, you stay that size. Some people may think of it as a bliss, but I personally get judged ALL the time of being anorexic and bulimic. One time someone said "Your parents must not love you because they dont feed you" or they say "go eat a candy bar" well its not that simple if you are naturally like 30 pounds underweight.
But what about the people who cant help it? Who constantly get teased for being anorexic? And all the guys who say "you look like u could be in the 6th grade" It hurts just as bad. Especially when people comment on here saying how ugly skinny people are.
Why do people judge other people when they dont want to be judged either?

Thank you!
This is what I'm talking about.
Some people just do not understand life. What boggles my brain is that it is socially unacceptable for a friend to say to an 'overweight' friend: "My god, lose some weight!!". Yet, when the situation is flipped, it's fine for them to say countless rude statements. It p***es me off too. Particularly when it comes from friends that see the way I eat like a horse, yet still have s**t to say. Anyhow. I try not to let it bother me anymore. Remember, that with age, your metabolism will slow down. Until then, recognize your beauty regardless of whosoever else cannot.

Some put them in a stereo type "you are skinny so you must be starving yourself". While others are jealous deep down and thats how they feel better about themselves. Like models... most agencies will not take a model with a eating disorder. They make sure that they stay healthy because they put alot of money and time in this person. Do you think that they want to have them die or end up in the hospital, get bad publicity or something. No. It would cost too much money and some agencies actually care about their models. I know a few that do. Either way, it still stands. Plus size people have the same problem. People stereo type them into thinking that all that they do is eat. That its all there fault that they are fat, again, some cases its true but in many cases its not.
This is a very judgemental world and sadly, all sides will suffer for it.

I completely agree - i remember being super skinny in highschool and always wishing i had bigger legs and fuller arms cos they were so skinny and now that i got that well im not so happy and it's not so easy to lose it. So if you have a fast metabolism then great!!!! go eat and around all those jealous fat people that cant lose it... ok im being silly but hopefully once you explain to these assuming people that you have a fast metabolism then will understand and if they still dont believe you then tell them to watch you 24/7 for like 2weeks as an experiment and let them feed you what they want in the attempt they can hope to turn you into a whale and if they cant they will finally understand that people are naturally skinny...ok ok,,,im blabbering,,,, but just want to say - i know how you feel and some people dont get it and never will but hey atleast there are benefits of being naturally a skinny woman - write them down - it's all the benefits fat people dont have.. you can fit in a seat without getting stuck, you can....etc etc...goodluck!! apparently your thryoid has influence on your weight, anyway it may just catch up to you as you get older - i have seen alot of skinny people actually fill out as they get older or actually get fat - so be careful and stay healthy!!!!

I feel for you. I personally don't have that problem, but my 11 year daughter does. She's thin as a rail and I hear "why don't you feed that kid something" all the time. What they don't know is that my daughter never stops eating! And I know it bothers her too because she gets called names. I tell her "Just remember, there will come a day when all the kids that teased you will be either chunky or obese and can't wear the cute clothes that you can...you're a beauty now and you'll be a beauty then and they will be jealous".

It does not matter if you are fat or skinny. You need to ignore other people and just be yourself. Believe it or not, just getting older makes all that go away. You think a group of grey haired ladies is sitting around dissing skinny girls...they could care less and you should too.
I also do not know why people walk up to skinny women and say something when they would never say anything to a fat girl.

I feel your pain.
I used to be 85 pounds... and I was 5'!"
I was 20 pounds underweight. I couldn't help it. It was my metabolism. But you can do something about it.

Gain muscle weight. Go running more. It's what I did :)
and now I'm 105.
A lot healthier and I've got the greatest body in the world.

I feel for ya. I'm a skinny guy and I've had issues with it all my life. Fortunately, I have found a great girl who loves my thinness. People will always make insensitive remarks. We just have to rise above that by being the best people possible and teach by example.

Maybe you should go on one of those shows where you can try on a fat suit. Im not fat but Im pretty sure that you dont have it as bad as them. People may say go eat a candy bar but can you really compare that with being harassed everyday both to your face and behind your back for being fat? And you say they can do something about it - do you even realize that its more difficult to lose weight than it is to gain weight? Honestly start to count your blessings. You are very ungrateful if the biggest complaint you have is that you are too skinny.

It hurts whether your heavy or too skinny...i think it is harder for heavy people who seem to always be the brunt of the jokes, where skinny is still considered the norm, where we are told you have to be skinny to fit in.You seem really caring and nice and it is sad people can't get to know a person before they are judged unfairly!!
