You can't just waltz into a Roman Catholic church and take First Communion. There's a procedure to it. If you're an adult attempting to make a First Communion, you'll have to take RCIA classes, be fully confirmed as a Catholic, and so forth, not to mention undergoing a baptism (if you haven't already done so).

The Episcopal Church is far more liberal on these points, and any baptized Christian can take Communion with them (and nobody's checking your credentials, at any rate...if you go to the altar rail for Holy Eucharist, you'll receive the Host and wine).

Your first "Holy Communion" was done already...when you heard your first soul sounds--your inner voice. The key is to maintain that communicae in every moment...it is your first instinct, your first thought, your first sense into each new experience. You now have a one-on-one with the Godhead...what more do you seek?
