I did some online test on the internet a few weeks back. They told me I'm gonna be 237 years old. I strongly believe it was a very scientific website.
Ok, I lied about smoking, but for the rest I was kinda honest.
So, scared of dying? yeah....

As a Catholic I have read entire books about the after-life and the effects or visions witnessed by people who do and do not believe. Reflecting upon these testimonies makes me confident the after-life exists and there are many aspects to it. I have read of testimonies telling of souls in purgatory suffering and being "purged" of any and all sin. Muslims have a similar belief. I have read about the soul being glorified and entering heaven.
The testimony of the Fatima children who saw a vision of a soul going to hell was horrific. A painting of it being devoured by demons was graphicly detailed.
There are times I have gotten frightened about going into non-existence after I die. Then, I recall how Jesus Christ is a real person and not a fictional character that has changed the world. Then, I am at peace with this truth; He has saved us from ourselves.

Oops, I am not that scared of dying... Because I have even been so curious that I had thoughts of killing myself just to find out what happens but then quickly thought man I wanna live it up just incase!
As an Atheist, whatever happens when I die just will happen.
Let me go hypothetical here =]
If Christians were right, then I would probally ***** out God about being an idiot and hurting all my friends and not giving me enough proof which would probally make me end up in Hell anyways.
If Atheists were right (no "Christian-based God") then I guess whatever happens happens right? I mean I don't know and NO ONE ELSE knows 100% what happens when you die so I guess I'll just find out when it comes to it =]
Have a great life!

No. I am not afraid to die. Of coarse the actual pain of it is a concern but it is the After I die part that I am looking forward too. Life is not over then. We,you and I will live on forever. The only question you need to answer is where will you be? I will be with my Abba Father.

I am not afraid of death for the most part.
Though, I don't want to die, and I have my natural instincts like everyone else.
But, when it's my time, I'm Ok with that. I have some fear about HOW I might die, but not about death itself.
It has crossed my mind that when I'll die that's it, it's over... and that is precisely what makes me want to enjoy and treasure life all the more.

Hum, Christians somewhat a lot have a similar view interior the afterlife as Muslims. and they suspect they're going to heaven. Atheists don't have a conception in heaven or hell and maximum believe that demise is demise. So in both case. No worry of hell.

I think fear of death is one of the reasons religions were created. Religion provides a refuge from the horror of non-existence.
At one time I was very much in fear of death, but I realized the fear will neither stop or postpone the end of the ride, so why not hang on ride the wheels of this mo-fo :-D

In between... I think fear of it is just instinct. Who wouldn't jump back if they almost got hit by a car? But for me, I'm not as afraid as I use to be after a loved one passed way too young...at this point in my life some days I still don't care if it happened...

Everyone fears death, but I believe mostly because of what we all will leave behind, not the process itself, but yes I am scared of death for that reason. When you really think about it, we die, but are emotions and thinking become non-existent. So we really wouldn't care. Oh and I'm atheist.

Yes, as a Christian girl, I admit that dying is scarry thought. All of us who come here, also leave.
But I believe that Jesus conquered the death, and He will wake me up. And then I can be with Him forever.
I would not make it without Him..I mean to my Father's house.
