What would you do if someone was telling you a knock-knock joke but after you said "who's there", they dropped dead, I know it seems insensitive but wouldn't you always wonder who was there?

For the first few years, maybe. But then I would just think that if whoever was there is still there after a few years, they have a problem.
I once had a joke played on me.. I was told by this person, that if I stood in the middle of the floor, he could go around me three times, and I would move before he went around me the fourth time. So I stood in the middle of the floor and he went around me three times, and then he left... I stood there for weeks. Then I finally moved... knock knock... who's there? 2 .. 2 who? 2 points.

no, not really.
if whomever was telling me the joke dropped dead, the person knocking must not be that important.
therefore, id just forget about it. who wants to get off the couch to answer the door for a bunch of kids playing ding-dong-ditch?
