For the most part, yes. Although I would never tell my grandfather I'm an atheist, he would think I was a satanist instead. The rest of my family knows and I love them and they love me. But I think it would kill my grandfather. I don't think the 80+ generation would be easy to get along with. All my friends are christian, but I like to associate myself with open minded people. I think as long as they are open minded and courteous of each others beliefs without trying to change one an others view points, then yes, we can all get along.
Peace

That's pretty tough. I mean, sure, you can love somebody deeply, but more often than not...love is not enough.
In the beginning, it can be interesting and fun to debate religion, but after a while...depending on how much of a role religion plays in the believer's life, that can make or break the relationship. It is admirable that one has faith, but if you end up trying to push religion on a person who does not believe, then ultimately, you will lose them.

My sister is a believer married to an athiest, and they're happy. I agree with you, even though a huge difference in religious belief (or non-belief) is probably not the easiest situation to handle long term.

Yes I know a Wiccan and a Christian who love each other so I dont think it would be a problem for a Christian and an atheist. Blessed be.

Well sure, anything is possible. They could be happy together right up to that death part. After that not only will they NOT be together but the Atheist is not going to be happy AT ALL!

Perhaps with communication - but it would be very difficult. Even two believers of different denominations have problems.

Well, sure! My wife's a baptist and I'm a materialist (the "vegans" of atheists.) We get along just fine.

love can't conquer a one way ticket to hell. What would you do, Serj, if your own woman was going there simply because she was too stubborn to acknowledge her creator?
