Yes i have, but there are many things u have to take in concideration when u street race... most of the illegal street races take place on streets where there is no traffic. And when you race you have to keep in mind that anything can go wrong and you're putting your life and the life of others on the edge... i have been busted street racing and there was no traffic at all, it was a street where that nobody ever used,,, i have friends who have gotten busted going 140+ and the concequences are bad, very bad, and when i say bad i mean bad,,, they served jail time, fines and revoked drivers lisence until they turn 21...and a bunch of community service...and insurance went up... now, it makes me think more if i want to street race or not, so when i want to race, i only race in a race track because it is leagal and safer...
i think it is a bad idea to allow drivers drive at exagerated speeds with a special drivers license because not everybody will have one, it would be fun, but the concequenses will be deaths and many accidents,,, another thing is that only rich people would be able to buy a Veyron...

Street racing is perhaps one of the most exilhirating things i've done in my life. not only are you unnecessarily exceeding speeds in potentially dangerous areas, but there is always the chance of getting caught, which can make things very interesting. I have never gotten a ticket for a ridiculous speed, but let's say that the cops have tried..... haha Oh and to the last part of the question, definitely no. The Veyron is the mac daddy of all cars in our world, but there are no real roads in the US like the Autobahn in Germany designed for that kind of speed. They should be able to do it but only in race tracks. Oh, and if you haven't street raced yet, do it, preferably on a drag track, but it is always fun on the street too... :-)

Well.........i dont think its a good idea at ALL. I know you said imagine the skilled drivers get the special license.....now, how can the skilled driver "control" the car that just cut him off because we wasn't seen coming down the road @200MPH. But something like this does exist..............the good ol' AUTOBAN, no speed limit! You can go as fast as your heart desires and engine can muster, but the moment you crash, scrape, hit, or cause a minor accident because of speeding, you loose your driving priveleges in Germany.

i like driving fast, my normal driving speed even in a busy road is 80 kph, i hate going below it. but of course i cannot do that all of the time because not all drivers drives as fast as me.
but if you give all fast drivers a license to drive fast all the time, someone or somebody will get hit for sure, no matter how good a driver you are.
cars are a lethal weapon, it should be handled with care and precission.

I never outgrew the urge to compete with other drivers, but I do it at much slower speeds than in the old days.
No one should be allowed to speed, regardless of their skill level. There are way too many neurotic drivers that would panic at the site of someone passing them at high speeds, crash, and blame someone else for their lack of skill.

no,,this is a totally bad idea ,,think of it,,would you want ot be hit head on by a car running over a hundred miles per hour,i think not,,bad idea,,there would be a lot of crazies on the road trying this, and the death toll would be triple what it is now,,or more.im sure you can come up with a better idea then this,,good luck.

I have never been involved with street racing. Anybody who does should lose their licence and vehicle without warning.
